Flameless Cooking Competition
Makar Sankranti is the day when the glorious Sun begins its ascendancy and enters into the northern hemisphere and thus it signifies an event wherein the Sun seems to bless his children. We, at Digamber School, want our beloved students to grow with purity, wisdom and knowledge. The event was celebrated with happiness and excitement in the school campus. The introduction of the day was given by Ms.Rashmi who explained the significance of this festival and wished everyone.
To develop the skill of non- flame dishes for the festival,a Flameless cooking competition was organised. The aim was to provide a platform for students to showcase their talent and explore new areas of interest. It was conducted with a view to create awareness about the nutritional value of food cooked without fire. The students prepared healthy dishes like ‘Sprouted Bhel, Chocolate balls and Cheesy Biscuit Canoapy’ using easy and quick recipes. They served the dishes in an artistic and aesthetic way. They came up with delicious and creative recipes that left everyone’s mouth watering. The little chefs looked tremendous in their aprons and hats. The day ended up with festive greetings and cheerfulness all around.
