“The soul of Indian culture, an expression of every Indian and a language of Pride: Hindi”
Hindi Diwas is a very special day that is celebrated in India every year with great pomp and show. On 14th September 1949, Hindi was adopted as the official language of the Republic of India by the Constituent Assembly of our country. Being our National language, it’s of paramount importance that students of the current generation learn and respect this language. Hence we celebrated Hindi Diwas with great zeal and enthusiasm.
The day was introduced by Ms.Taruna Nathani who explained the significance of the day and made children aware that Hindi plays a significant role in connecting the citizens of India. A Hindi Poem Recitation Competition was held in which students enthralled the audience with their impressive presentation of the poems. Children enjoyed the beauty of expression, thoughts, feeling, rhyme, rhythm and music of words and exhibited their talent and confidence, reciting poems on various themes like Chandrayan ,Mother’s Love,Traffic Sense and many more. The contestants were judged on the criteria of voice modulation, confidence, presentation and content.
This activity was organized to explore and encourage the speaking skills and uplift the confidence in children.
